When asked the most challenging thing about teaching a yoga class, many new (and even seasoned) instructors will often admit to feeling unconfident about their flow sequencing and class structure. This was my motivation for developing Creative Yoga Sequencing – a comprehensive guide to asana structure and flow.
The course is designed for you to move at a pace that is right for you. Each module is about 10 hours worth of content.
Yes! Upon successful completion of each module, you will earn 10 CEUs that can be registered with Yoga Alliance. Nelly holds a YACEP designation with Yoga Alliance and approved to award Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Successfully completing all three modules will earn you 30 CEUs.
This is a continuing education program for yoga teachers who are ready to enliven creativity in their classes, create efficiency to have more time for other opportunities, and want to deepen their understanding of how to purposefully and creatively sequence their classes.
Each module is a blended learning approach. With a steady pace of one month per module, every week you will have: one 60-90 minute recorded or live training, approximately 30-60 minutes of assignments, one 60 minute live Q&A / content recap session with Nelly. You are also encourage to engage with other members in the private Facebook group to gain inspiration and valuable feedback from others. The more you participate, the more value you will gain.
With the blended learning approach, you can complete the training videos and assignments at your own pace.
To earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs), yes. Completing your assignments give you an opportunity to receive direct feedback from Nelly and other members so you feel confident in applying what you learn.
The assignments are spaced out with ample time to complete them prior to the next training. To earn CEU credit, all assignments need to be completed. You will have continued access to the course materials after the course date.
You will have continued access to all course materials post training in the learning portal. All assignments should be completed within 90 days to receive CEU credit. This helps you to stay current with the content as it builds upon each training.
